To access most features of maca, you must create an account using a valid email address. Your email address is your login identifier and is treated as personal information under this Policy.

If we become aware that an individual under 13 may have provided us with personal information, we will investigate and, if applicable, delete the data and the account. Information you choose to share about your body and activity, including: height, weight, target weight, fitness level, workout preferences, goals, sessions completed, minutes trained, streaks, and any other wellness information you provide. Some of this data may be considered sensitive personal information where it relates to your health or physical condition.
- Communications with maca. Your email address, name, and any other content you provide when contacting us, including support conversations.
- Research and survey information. Contact details, feedback, and other information you provide if you take part in research or surveys.
- Preferences and requests. Communication preferences, in-app preferences, and any other requests you send us.
Information We Collect Automatically
We may collect usage and device data, such as details about your operating system or mobile device (including unique device identifiers generated by our app), general location inferred from your IP address, actions you take in the Services, and the frequency and duration of your activity. You can accept or reject cookies through your browser settings. Preferences are set per browser and per device, so you may need to repeat your choices on each browser and device you use.
Mobile device permissions
You can control access to your camera, photos, notifications, and health data in your device settings at any time. Turning off a permission may disable related features such as progress syncing.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to correct inaccurate information, to request deletion, to request a portable copy, to opt out of certain processing (including targeted advertising), and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business purposes such as legal compliance, dispute resolution, security, and enforcement of our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your associated data within a commercially reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy

Residents of California and other US states with comprehensive privacy laws have the rights described in “Your Privacy Rights,” including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising. We do not sell health or fitness data. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, where required by law, provide additional notice or request your consent.
